I feel very fortunate to play with three talented musicians in the musical group "A Record Day". The group's name reflects the fact that the music we play was available on records: fabulous 40's music as well as more modern pieces. All eminently danceable and fun to listen to and reminisce. Our gigs are mostly at Seniors residences in the Waterloo/Kitchener, Guelph region.
The creative process is absorbing and rewarding. I think exposure to my son-in-law’s farm likely inspired my choice to paint portraits of our barnyard friends. Each subject seems to take on its own personality. I also enjoy painting landscapes and sculpting soapstone.
